Little Nicolao and Gahnam Fursh.
After coming home early from the school library one evening, Gahnam noticed light foot steps in the snow as he peered over the edge of the book he was reading. Looking up further along the road he saw a figure, 'must be someone young, their stance is sloppy and their height is almost mine.' he thought to himself as he closed the book and yelled out to the person ahead shyly "He-hello?" Stopping, the other person turned to face Gahnam. The familiar darkly hidden face could only be Nico. Gahnams face let on a small friendly smile. Nicolao scowled and pressed on not giving another thought to Gahnam's presence.
Gahnam walked silently behing Nicolao for sometime. Suddenly he stopped. "Stop following me," Nicolao simply stated and started his slow pace again. "I live this way though," Gahnam replied. Nicolao answered again, "What, always following people and never living your own life? Waiting for others to hand it to you?" his tone was low, and unenthusiastic. "No...my house is this way..." Gahnam said again puzzled. Nicolao turned to him his face flustered by his mistake. "Well....You walk too loudly! I could hear you a mile away!" He said angrily and turned, stomping off into the snow covered woods.
